While news searching today I ran across an article about an 18 year old who got arrested for putting a hit on his parents. http://abcnews.go.com/TheLaw/wireStory?id=4318091How the parents talk about him and their reactions is a bit off. I don't think they really understand what happened.

Wow, from that article I don't think the mother realizes the severity of her sons actions. I know all parents want to believe that their children are perfectly angelic but what is it going to take to make some people open their eyes?!?!
In her case most likely him standing over he bead with a knife in his hand.
Somehow, I doubt even that would make the mother realize the problems her child has. I have a friend whose daughter cuts herself, sews her skin with thread, promiscuious (sp), constantly being kicked out of school for violent behavior and yet this mother doesn't seem to think her daughter has any problems. Parents need to open their eyes.
