Still Catholic and proud of it. Don't have a lot of rants like my dad, the ignorant redneck. Love being a wife and mother and have known that was my calling since I was 10 yrs old.

Man meal for the guys!
1 steak per person
3 cloves of garlic chopped
1 to 2 lbs fresh green beans
small bag of frozen tail less shrimp-cooked
meat tenderizer(salt-read the package that's all it is)
the next posts potatoes recipe
1 lb bacon chopped (peices about 1 in)
Apply meat tenderizer accordingly and let sit while you prepare potatoe dish. In skillet cook bacon until crisp to substitute for ham in tater recipe.
Use drippings to cook steaks to desired doneness. Add the thawed shrimp, or frozen it heets quickly, to the drippings left in the pan and let heat until hot. Remove and put in bowl to serve. Use crnstarch according to direction to thicken remaining drippings in skillet for gravy.
In a large pot boil green beans until tender ( my hubby likes them still a little crisp, they taste better). when done remove from water and add butter and salt and pepper to taste.
