Honking Drivers
I'm not talking about drivers who honk while they are driving. I'm talking about the ones who are picking someone up and sit out in the street or in the driveway and honk for the person to come outside.
Now, I don't know about you, but if someone wants to pick me up they need to come to the door and get me. I can't see who's hinking the horn. The person may just be driving my friends car.
When my daughter starts dating(years from now) she will not leave the house if her date doesn't come to the door and meet her parents first. If her date, or friend, has so little respect for her as to honk at her like she's in the way then she will not be leaving with them.
That's right, I thinks it's disrespectful. A person is not a dog you can train to come when you call, or honk. Have enough respect for your passenger, and the neighbors, to get out of the car and knock on the door. If you can't face someones parents to pick their kid up, or even say hello to the spouse or kids, when you pick them up, you probably shouldn't even be there. Even if you are in a hurry. IT only takes a minute. One minute o look the rest of the household in the eye and tell them who you are.
